02 / Setup
From ZIP to Power BI.

Extract the complete package to a local folder or USB drive. Do not run it from inside the ZIP.

On a personal Windows PC, open PowerShell as administrator and run the included
PowerBIExternalTool\Register-ModelIQExternalTool.ps1. - 03
Close every Power BI Desktop window, reopen it, and open a non-production PBIX or PBIP model.

Select External tools → ModelIQ Finance. Keep the USB connected while the tool runs.
